- Nicole was born to Korean immigrants in Seattle, adopted by Caucasian parents, raised in Oregon, and later reunited with her biological sister. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, she is a freelance writer and editor who has worked in the nonprofit sector since 2001. She can be reached at nikki@jhu.edu.
